Atom Symbol

Never trust an atom ─ they make up everything! A great gift idea for lab technician, science enthusiast, physics student or any bonafide nerd, our atom cookie cutter is the perfect choice for creating scientific works of art. Mix up some atoms into a favorite dough, chill, press, bake and decorate into scrumptious cookies, biscuits, fondant and more! A unit of matter, the atom is the basic unit of a chemical element and is the smallest substance particle that can exist by itself or be combined. The defining structure of elements, atoms are made up of protons, neutrons and electrons particles. The protons and the neutrons form the center of the atom while the electrons float above the nucleus like cloud. These "flying" electrons carry a negative charge and the protons at the core carry that of a positive charge. The building blocks of life, this one-of-a-kind atom biscuit cutter charges a love for science, from the youngest to the oldest. Baking has never been so deliciously geeky!
