Jack-O-Lantern Leptoseris Colony

The Jack-O-Lantern Leptoseris, Leptoseris species, is a bright orange encrusting to plating LPS coral known for intense fluorescence and glowing yellow-orange eyes. This collector coral stands out under actinic lighting and is excellent for adding high-impact color to shaded or lower-light areas of the reef.

Care Guide: Leptoseris species generally prefer low to moderate lighting and moderate, indirect flow. Avoid blasting the coral with intense light at first, as it often colors best when acclimated slowly. Place it where it can encrust or plate over rockwork without being overtaken by aggressive neighbors.
