Strawberry Cyphastrea Coral

Strawberry Cyphastrea, Cyphastrea species, is a colorful encrusting LPS coral with a red to strawberry-colored base and light contrasting polyps. Its compact encrusting growth makes it a great choice for adding bright color to rockwork or lower-light reef areas.

Care Guide: Cyphastrea species prefer low to moderate lighting and low to moderate flow. They usually do best away from very intense light and should be given space to encrust. Maintain stable alkalinity, calcium, and magnesium, and avoid allowing detritus or algae to smother the growing edge.
