Orange Pavona maldivensis

Description: Pavona corals are hardy SPS corals known for their interesting ridged surface, encrusting or plating growth, and attractive coloration. They are a good choice for reef keepers looking for a more adaptable small-polyp stony coral with unique texture.
Care Guide: Pavona is a relatively hardy SPS coral that does well in moderate to higher lighting with moderate, turbulent flow. Place it on stable rockwork with room to grow. Keep alkalinity stable and avoid rapid swings in nutrients or salinity.
