When Planets Collide Chalice Colony

The When Planets Collide Chalice, Echinophyllia species, is a collector LPS coral with intense green coloration, contrasting red-orange eyes, and a textured encrusting growth form. Chalice corals are prized for their glowing colors and unique patterns, especially under actinic reef lighting.

Care Guide: Echinophyllia chalice corals generally prefer low to moderate lighting and low to moderate water flow. Acclimate slowly to avoid light stress and allow space around the colony, as chalices can be aggressive and may send out sweeper tentacles. Keep water chemistry stable and avoid placing it where sand or detritus can settle.
